Pay: $16.50 per hour (based on experience)
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and motivated
Line Cook to join our resort culinary team. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals for guests. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipes, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with food prep, portioning, and plating
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Monitor inventory and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor
- Maintain proper storage and labeling of food products
Qualifications- Previous experience as a line cook, prep cook, or kitchen staff preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and food presentation
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Food handler certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
Schedule- Day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
- Flexible scheduling available depending on resort needs
