About The Mac Truck

The Mac Truck isn't your average food truck.

We're a plant-based comfort food truck built around food, music, culture, and Los Angeles. Our signature Mac & Yease has been around for decades, and now we're taking it directly to the streets.

You ll find us at some of the most culturally relevant events and spaces in Los Angeles music events, film screenings, festivals, street fairs, nightlife, markets, concerts, community events, and private and corporate gatherings.

The vibe is fun, fast, social, and a little unpredictable. One shift might be a neighborhood service, the next might have us feeding hundreds of people at a major event. The music is playing, people are excited to see us, and the kitchen is moving.

We want cooks who understand that the experience matters as much as the food. You need to be able to work hard, move quickly, communicate with your team, keep your station tight, and still enjoy being part of what's happening around you.

This is a good fit for someone who loves food but also wants to be outside of the traditional restaurant kitchen working events, meeting people, seeing Los Angeles, and being part of something we're actively building.

We're building a crew of people who are talented, reliable, cool under pressure, and good to work with. No egos. Everybody works. Everybody helps. And when the doors open, we move.

To apply: Send your resume along with a short note about your kitchen experience, availability, and why you think you'd be a good fit for The Mac Truck.
