Schlesinger’s Steakhouse is looking for a talented and dependable Line Cook to join our culinary team!

What You’ll Do
- Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station before and throughout service
- Prepare steaks, seafood, and other menu items according to recipes and established standards
- Consistently execute dishes with excellent quality, timing, and presentation
- Work efficiently and accurately during high-volume meal periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout each shift
- Communicate clearly with chefs, fellow cooks, and front-of-house team members
- Complete daily prep and ensure ingredients are properly stored, labeled, and ready for service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements
- Assist with kitchen cleaning, breakdown, and closing duties as needed
- Support the overall kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
What We’re Looking For
- Previous Line Cook experience in a fast-paced restaurant required
- Steakhouse, upscale casual, or high-volume dining experience strongly preferred
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of professional cooking techniques
- Ability to follow recipes, tickets, and plating standards consistently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed during busy services
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
- Positive attitude and team-first approach
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
