Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented culinary professional to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will help prepare high-quality menu items, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a smooth, efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines
- Cook food to proper temperatures and ensure quality, consistency, and timing
- Support the kitchen team during service by managing assigned stations efficiently
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout each shift
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times
- Assist with stocking, rotation, and proper storage of food and supplies
- Communicate clearly with team members and respond promptly to changing priorities
- Help minimize waste and support efficient kitchen operations
- Perform routine cleaning and closing tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food service experience is preferred but not always required
- Basic knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
