    Riverton Pointe Golf and Country Club, located in Hardeeville, SC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Line Cook! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

    Pay: $22.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

    Riverton Pointe Golf & Country Club — a prestigious private club opening this February/March — is seeking talented Line Cooks to help launch an exceptional new dining program. This is a unique opportunity to join an opening team where culinary excellence meets premier hospitality.

    As a member of our culinary team, you will help shape a dining experience designed for a discerning membership that values quality, creativity, and consistency. Ideal candidates are passionate about food, committed to high standards, and excited to contribute to a world-class kitchen from day one.

    Essential Duties:
    • Prepares sufficient quantities of food product in accordance to production plan or forecast needs.
    • Utilizes whole food products eliminating any waste.
    • Maintains overall cleanliness and sanitation standards in assigned areas.
    • Alerts chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdowns, food overages, or shortages in a timely manner
    • Requisitions inventory and receive supplies as necessary for daily production.
    • Ensures proper storage of food items, wraps, dates, and rotates food items.
    • Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
    • Has 2 – 5 years of hands online experience.
    • Performs other duties as required.
     
    Education/Experience:
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
     
    Physical Demands:
    Frequently stands, uses hands, talks, listens, tastes and smells. Regularly walks and reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Regularly lifts up to 50 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 100 pounds (team lift).
     
    Environment/Noise:
    Regularly works in extreme heat (non-weather) and near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in extreme cold (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), near toxic or caustic chemicals, and in outdoor weather. Noise level is moderate.
