Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for an experienced and reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team and help us prepare high-quality Ukrainian and European dishes.The ideal candidate is a hardworking culinary professional who takes pride in their work, can follow recipes and kitchen procedures, works efficiently during busy service, and maintains high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.What You'll DoPrepare and cook Ukrainian and European dishes according to recipes and restaurant standardsComplete food preparation and mise en place for daily serviceWork efficiently at an assigned kitchen stationFollow recipes, portion sizes, preparation methods, and presentation standardsPrepare ingredients including vegetables, meats, sauces, soups, and other food itemsCook food to the required quality, temperature, and presentation standardsMaintain consistent food quality and portion controlCommunicate effectively with the kitchen team during serviceWork closely with the Sous Chef and Head ChefKeep your station clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shiftMonitor food levels at your station and communicate when additional preparation is neededProperly store, label, and rotate food productsMinimize food waste and use ingredients efficientlyFollow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety proceduresClean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and kitchen areasAssist other kitchen team members when neededComplete opening and closing kitchen duties as assignedMaintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitudeWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview.
