If you enjoy preparing great food, interacting with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you!This position offers the opportunity to work independently in a busy student center snack shop serving students, faculty, and staff during afternoons and evenings throughout most of the year.In this role, you'll split your time between food preparation and customer service, helping create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for every guest.ResponsibilitiesPrepare made-from-scratch favorites including burgers, chicken tenders, sandwiches, and other grill itemsOperate a flat-top grill and fryer safely and efficientlyPrepare and stock fresh grab-and-go itemsTake customer orders and operate the point-of-sale systemHandle credit card and mobile transactions accuratelyProvide friendly, efficient customer serviceMaintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standardsRestock products and keep the snack shop organized and invitingWhat We're Looking ForExperience in food service, retail, or customer service preferredExperience operating a grill and fryer is highly desirableComfortable using a point-of-sale systemStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindsetScheduleTypical shifts are afternoons and evenings, generally ranging between 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
