In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our Central Limit Hub, CLH and OTC Client Clearing technology platforms. You will support a talented global engineering team responsible for delivering low-latency, business-critical solutions that support real-time trade approvals, risk monitoring, and limit monitoring across multiple asset classes. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with Front Office, Risk, Operations and Technology guidance while driving platform modernization, AI adoption, and the expansion of strategic limit guidance across Barclays Liquid Financing Markets business. To be successful as a Limits & OTC Trading Technology Lead - VP you should have:
Considerable experience in Financial Markets Technology, with deep knowledge in Limits Oversight, OTC Trading, Client Clearing, Risk Monitoring, and related capital markets domains.
Established experience supporting engineering, delivery, or platform teams, with the ability to influence stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
Ample experience designing and building enterprise platforms, data architectures, and large-scale distributed systems.
Considerable software engineering ability, particularly in Java, with experience leveraging AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
Excellent communication, stakeholder collaboration, and influencing skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver complex technology solutions in fast-paced environments
Other highly valued skills include:
Knowledge of Portfolio Margin, House Margin, Regulatory Margin, Exposure Monitoring, and Collateral Administration
Understanding of MiFID III and broader regulatory programs impacting financial markets
Knowledge building real-time, low-latency trading or risk monitoring platforms
Experience driving platform modernization, cloud adoption, or AI-enabled transformation efforts
Working across globally distributed teams and delivering highly detailed programmed across multiple regions

This role is located in New York, NY office.
Minimum Salary: $170,000
Maximum Salary: $230,000
