    Position Summary

    Limited X-ray technologists play a vital role in diagnostic imaging, capturing high-quality X-ray images to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients.

    Duties/Responsibilities

    • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Examine and interpret images to determine if further studies are needed.
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following established protocols and procedures.
    • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and co-workers.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and images in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Operate and maintain radiology equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing as needed.
    • Continuously strive to improve knowledge and skills through ongoing training and education.
    • Support the organization as needed.
    • Performs other duties as requested.
    • Demonstrates ability to use equipment relevant to the position.

    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Experience with electronic medical records and image management systems.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Familiarity with current healthcare regulations and standards.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

    Education and Experience

    • Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or related field.
    • Certification as a Limited Radiology Technician (LRT) from an accredited program.
    • At least 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
