Job Description

Key Responsibilities - Light Industrial Superintendent:

  • Lead daily field operations on commercial and light industrial construction projects
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain production goals
  • Conduct daily site walks, quality control inspections, and progress documentation
  • Run on-site meetings with project teams, clients, and subcontractors
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant jobsite
  • Identify and resolve field issues quickly to keep projects moving forward
  • Review construction drawings, detect conflicts, and coordinate solutions with project teams
  • Track material deliveries and manage site logistics
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and lead toolbox talks
  • Support project closeout, punch lists, and turnover documentation

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications - Light Industrial Superintendent:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial or light industrial construction
  • Tilt wall, warehouse, distribution center, cold storage experience preferred
  • Proven track record managing subcontractors and coordinating field operations
  • Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and scheduling sequences
  • Excellent communication skills with project teams, clients, and trades
  • Ability to maintain accountability and performance in a fast-paced jobsite environment
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

  • $120,000 - $140,000 Base Salary (Based on experience)
