Responsibilities
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming materials and products
- Prepare outgoing shipments; pack, wrap, and label merchandise
- Accurately log all transactions in the computer system
- Check quantities, weights, and material identification for compliance
- Process freight bills, packing sheets, and related documentation
- Generate shipping reports and bills of lading
- Organize and route items to correct destinations per schedules and requirements
- Maintain clean and orderly workspaces
Required Skills and Experience
- 10 years of direct shipping and receiving experience
- Proficiency using computer systems for inventory and tracking
- Strong knowledge of shipping practices and warehouse safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting, packing, and moving materials
Preferred Skills
- Experience with central warehouse operations
- Familiarity with logistics software and advanced tracking systems
