[Responsibilities]
- Execute manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties in a central warehouse setting
- Operate computer systems for tracking, logging, verification, and reporting of all shipments and receipts
- Adhere to established shipping practices, transportation routing, schedules, and regulatory requirements
- Receive, inspect, and prepare materials and products for shipment
- Unpack and pack finished goods, raw materials, assemblies, parts, and equipment
- Verify quantity, weight, and conformity of shipments to documentation and stated specifications
- Accurately log receipts, process freight bills, packing slips, and other essential shipping documents
- Prepare and report materials shipped, bills of lading, and shipping charges
- Route merchandise to proper destinations within facility or for outbound shipping
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 15 years of shipping and receiving experience
- Proficient in handling shipping/receiving computer systems
- Strong attention to detail in verifying shipments and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in unpacking, packing, and handling diverse materials
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with advanced logistics software
