Light Industrial Recruiter

Location: Greensboro, High Point, Asheboro, or Burlington, NC
Reports To: Recruiting Manager
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $45,000–$55,000 annually + commission

We're looking for a Light Industrial Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and placing candidates in manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, logistics, and skilled labor positions while building strong partnerships with clients throughout the Triad.

What You'll Do

Recruit and Connect Great People with Great Opportunities

  • Source, recruit, interview, and evaluate candidates for a variety of light industrial positions.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified talent to meet current and future client needs.
  • Match candidate skills, experience, and career goals with available opportunities.
  • Proactively market qualified candidates to hiring managers and clients.

Build Strong Client Relationships

  • Develop partnerships with existing clients while helping identify new opportunities.
  • Learn client operations, workforce needs, and hiring goals.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding open positions, candidate availability, and workforce planning.
  • Attend client meetings, networking events, and community activities to strengthen relationships and generate new business opportunities.

Manage the Hiring & Onboarding Process

  • Guide candidates through every step of the hiring process.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including background checks, drug screenings, employment eligibility verification, safety training, and new hire paperwork.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through placement.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and client information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Drive Results and Grow Your Career

  • Manage multiple open job orders while prioritizing hiring needs.
  • Track recruiting activity and placement progress.
  • Meet and exceed recruiting and placement goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop recruiting strategies and achieve business objectives.
  • Continuously develop your recruiting, staffing, and workforce management skills.

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting for manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, distribution, or light industrial positions.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Avionté, TempWorks, Bullhorn, or similar recruiting platforms.
  • Experience in staffing, talent acquisition, workforce solutions, or business development.
