Join a dynamic team in Ventura, CA as a Light Industrial Inventory Planner/Controller. Leverage your expertise to manage inventory for finished goods across sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points. Play a critical role in aligning stock levels with sales and distribution demand while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
[Responsibilities]
- Plan and control inventory to support sales and distribution objectives
- Analyze inventory levels, positioning, and production/sales forecasts
- Maintain and update inventory system inputs for accuracy
- Coordinate stock liquidation and transfer activities based on cost, age, and demand
- Take immediate action to resolve out-of-stock situations and prevent disruptions
- Work closely with traffic, production planning, and warehouse teams to optimize routing, scheduling, and storage of goods
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 4 years' experience as an inventory planner/controller in a light industrial environment
- Strong analytical skills for inventory assessment and forecasting
- Proven track record in inventory system management and process improvement
- Effective communicator and collaborator with cross-functional teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to act decisively under pressure
