Join a dynamic team as a Light Industrial - Electrical Technician at Lask Polish Air Base, Poland. Play a critical part in maintaining and repairing F-16 specific electrical and environmental systems in a high-impact, mission-driven environment. This OCONUS position is ideal for experienced electrical technicians with a military background, seeking challenging assignments and professional growth while working on leading-edge aerospace technology.
[Responsibilities]
- Execute repairs, construction, and installation of routine electrical systems and equipment for F-16 aircraft.
- Cut, thread, bend, couple, and strap conduit; accurately cut wire and conduit to specified lengths.
- Install, repair, or replace switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
- Disassemble motors, generators, and other components to prepare for repair and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, inspect circuits, verify shielding and grounding, and test equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications using electrical hand tools and voltage/amperage measuring devices.
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 5 years of hands-on experience as an Electrical Technician.
- Demonstrated expertise in F-16 electrical and environmental systems.
- Previous military experience with a validated 7 Level qualification.
- Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, system installation, and maintenance practices.
- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints.
[Preferred Skills]
- Advanced experience with F-16 airframe electrical systems.
- Familiarity with OCONUS work environments.
