Title: Electrical Assembler
Location: Easthampton, MA (100% Onsite)
Duration: 3 months (Contract)
Shift: 9 AM - 5 PM

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Job Description:

Under supervision of the Production Supervisor and direction from the Team Lead, the Electrical Assembler must be able to correctly build finished products or sub-assemblies using work instructions, general dimensional drawings, electrical components, wiring diagrams, or verbal instructions.

Assemble cables and wire harnesses to IPC 620 Class 2 standards. Connect component wires to circuits and connect wires between individual component leads. Ability to comprehend circuit diagrams and assembly drawings following engineering specifications. Wiring experience and knowledge of assembling Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) are required. May perform other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a dependable Cable Assembler to join our dynamic environment. Day-to-day activities will include assembly and testing of cables, wire harnesses, and other sub-assemblies required for use in aerospace test equipment. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Duties:

  • Assemble cables and harnesses
  • Assemble test fixtures
  • Install and cable components within a test rack
  • Assemble the above from a combination of engineering documentation, assembly drawings, and work instructions
  • Work closely with experienced technicians and a team-lead
  • Adjust to frequently changing demands
  • Maintain inventory, organization, and maintenance of company tools and job materials
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Set-up and utilize a variety of test equipment
  • Collaborate with Operations team to achieve performance and compliance goals

Must Haves:

  • Experience assembling wire harnesses, cables, and electrical components (including wiring and PCB assembly).
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and work instructions.
  • Knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards (IPC-A-620 certification preferred) and strong attention to detail.
