Job Title: Light Industrial - Counter Representative

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Counter Representative to join our client's team in the industrial sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service, supporting sales goals, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
• Assist customers in identifying products and solutions that meet their needs.
• Process orders, quotes, returns, and sales transactions accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments for accuracy.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year basic computer experience.
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Counter experience in wholesale distribution.

Preferred Qualifications (if any)

• Previous customer service, counter sales, retail, plumbing supply, HVAC supply, electrical supply, construction, or warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training may be provided.

Salary & Benefits (Optional)

Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4 pm with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.
