Light Industrial - Assembler
Location: Oldsmar, FL, 34677 | Shift: Mon-Thurs 5 AM-3:30 PM EST
[About the Role]
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Light Industrial Assembler, operating advanced dispensing and coating machines to produce high-quality circuit board assemblies. This hands-on position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with extensive assembly experience seeking a stable and rewarding career in a collaborative environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Operate multiple dispensing and coating machines to meet precise customer specifications
- Mask/tape circuit boards to protect designated areas from coating or potting
- Inspect assemblies for accurate and uniform coating coverage
- Maintain, clean, and replenish machines to ensure optimal performance
- Remove excess coating and perform manual touch-ups for consistent quality
- Safely transport circuit boards between production stations
- Prepare and apply potting, bonding, and coating compounds to components and assemblies
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols
- Complete required function training and participate in ongoing skills development
- Support production by retrieving and advancing materials and tools as needed
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on assembler experience in a light industrial or electronics manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise with dispensing and coating machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to production demands
- Knowledge of chemicals, solvents, and material handling
[Preferred Skills]
- Experience with encapsulation, potting, and bonding of electronic assemblies
- Familiarity with process fluid replenishment and machine maintenance
- Completion of specialized function training courses
