[About the Role]
Join Lockheed Martin's renowned Greenville Production Team as an entry-level Light Industrial - APG Mechanic. In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of building the legendary F-16 Fighter Jet, working in a dynamic hangar environment that values hands-on talent, growth, and teamwork.
[Responsibilities]
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify F-16 aircraft systems and powerplants according to established procedures and standards
- Maintain, service, and operate aircraft systems including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, rigging, and aircraft movement
- Accurately document maintenance actions and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Adapt to various shifts, including 1st, 2nd, and potential weekend schedules; initial training provided on 1st shift
- Start date: 9/14/2026
[Required Skills and Experience]
- 5 years of APG (Aircraft, Powerplant, and General) mechanic experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Familiarity with F-16 or similar fighter jet systems a plus
- Ability to follow technical procedures and safety regulations
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required

- Experience with F-16 aircraft systems
- Prior work in a production hangar or aerospace manufacturing environment
