[About the Role]
Join Lockheed Martin's Greenville Production Team as a Production Flightline APG, F-16 Technician Level 2/3. Play a critical part in delivering world-class F-16 aircraft by maintaining, inspecting, and repairing advanced aircraft systems. [Responsibilities]
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify F-16 aircraft systems and powerplants per written procedures and standards
- Perform maintenance on landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling/defueling systems, and support aircraft movement, launch, and recovery
- Read and comprehend safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Safely handle hazardous materials and comply with government and company regulations
- Maintain a clean, FOD-free workspace and wear PPE as required
- Complete assigned mission essential functions and additional tasks as needed
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Minimum 5 years' experience as an APG Mechanic or equivalent aircraft maintenance technician
- Proficient in aircraft systems operation and maintenance for F-16 or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and maintenance documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
- Eligible to obtain a secret clearance; able to meet vision and PPE requirements
[Preferred Skills]
- Prior F-16 flightline experience
- Familiarity with Lockheed Martin procedures
- Advanced troubleshooting and aircraft modification expertise
