Operates a variety of small engine tools and equipment such as small front-end loaders, rollers, bush hogs, sweeper brooms, chippers, Wacker packer, chain saws, weed eaters, jack hammers, single axle dump trucks, snowplows, sand trucks tandem trucks, tractors, heat applicator, power and hand tools, etc. Depending on area of assignment, completes the following activities in support of County projects and activities as assigned: cuts weeds; mows grass; clears snow and ice from roads; removes fallen trees and other debris from roads and County property; installs and repairs traffic control signs; manufactures signs; and collects and/or transports solid waste; performs other related duties as required. High school diploma or GED required; supplemented by one year of work experience that shows and ability to maintain steady employment in any field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid South Carolina Class B Commercial Driver"s License (CDL), including appropriate endorsement.
