Introduction

We are seeking a Light-Duty Diesel Technician in Tulare, California, with strong diagnostic and repair abilities. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel vehicles.
• Perform diesel fuel system diagnostics and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair oil leaks.
• Complete camshaft and lifter repairs.
• Perform general mechanical repairs as assigned.
• Complete a Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) on every vehicle.
• Prepare estimates for recommended repairs.
• Manage assigned repairs from diagnosis through completion.

Qualifications

• Light-duty diesel repair experience.
• Strong automotive and diesel diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to complete repairs independently from diagnosis through final repair.
• Strong computer skills for shop-related documentation and workflow.
• Demonstrated reliability and follow-through in prior work.
• Professional, organized approach to assigned work.
• Ability to collaborate with a team while working independently when needed.

Compensation & Benefits

• $40-$55/hour through a hybrid hourly and efficiency-based compensation plan.
• Stated annual earning potential of $106,000-$130,000+; actual earnings may vary based on the compensation structure and efficiency.
• Pay increases after reaching 75% efficiency, with a larger increase at 100% efficiency.
