Lift Station Operator Worker I

Orange Texas is the eastern most City in Texas located on the Sabine River at the border of Louisiana. We are in one of the most promising industrial areas on the fast-growing Gulf Coast. 

This is an entry-level position within the Wastewater Lift Station classification series. The Lift Station Operator assists with the operation inspection maintenance and repair of the City&rsquos wastewater lift stations to ensure proper function and compliance with TCEQ regulations. Duties include performing routine checks basic troubleshooting responding to issues helping maintain reliable system performance and operating light to heavy equipment.
