Milford Exempted Village School District Job Descripon TITLE: Lifeguard WORK SCHEDULE : As needed RESPONSIBLE TO: Aquacs Coordinator and Director of Fine Arts and Extra Curriculars QUALIFICATIONS Maintain current lifeguard and CPR cercaons and ensure Aquacs Supervisor is provided a copy of current cercaons (front/back). MAJOR FUNCTION Guard the safety of each user of the natatorium. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and direct acvity in the pool as well as the enre facility at all mes. Enforce rules in a consistent, fair, and professional manner. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the pools, decks, seang, and areas Assist in the operaon and maintenance of all pool equipment as needed. Report to your scheduled shi at least 15 minutes before having to be in the chair. Immediately report any idened equipment or safety issues to the Aquacs Director. Report any medical emergencies to the Aquacs Director once medical personnel have taken control of any situaons. Nofy the Aquacs Director immediately if you are unable to fulll a scheduled lifeguarding assignment. Accurately and appropriately use me clock systems to record me worked at both the beginning and end of shis. February 2024
