Job Requirements:
This is local hire, At least one (1) year experience in a similar position with a Full-Service Hotel, Health Club with proven references in CPR, Emergency Medical Procedures and current certification as a Lifeguard by a recognized source of training.
Must be able to work Guam USA, without US work visa, looking for candidates who are US citizens, US Permanent Residents and Residents of Federated States of Micronesia.
Part Time position, may required to work 40 hours a week.
Must be able to work flexible shifts.
Must be able to work on Weekends, Holidays and inclement weather.
Maintain continuous surveillance of people in swimming pools, lakes and oceans
Ensure appropriate headcount of people involved in a watersport on an hourly basis
Provide safety information to people prior to them indulging in a water sport
Supervise swimmers to ensure that they are swimming within the safety protocols
Spot hazards or potential hazards and take measures to prevent accidents
Control and report unruly behavior and evict individuals not adhering to behavior protocols
Ensure that water sports such as beach volleyball and surfing is done within the parameters of set rules and regulation
Perform pool chemical checks to ensure safety and hygiene
Ensure all equipment is well maintained and in safe condition
Proven experience as a lifeguard, preferably in a luxury hotel/resort environment
Current lifeguard certification and up-to-date knowledge of CPR and first aid
Strong swimming skills and ability to swim long distances if needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional appearance

Interact with guests in an engaging and friendly attitude and promote the Resort's recreation activities and facilities to guests.
As a lifeguard, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of our guests at the pool and beach areas. You will enforce all safety regulations and respond quickly and effectively to all aquatic emergencies. Your role will also involve maintaining cleanliness and order in your assigned areas to uphold our high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

What we need from you
Education - Basic reading, writing and math skills.
Service years - At least one (1) year experience in a similar position with a Full-Service Hotel, Health Club with proven references in CPR, Emergency Medical Procedures and current certification as a Lifeguard by a recognized source of training.
Knowledge and skills
Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
Multi-lingual preferred but not required.
