Job Description Summary:
Focus Partners is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to help design, build, and optimize the campaigns and journeys that power our growth, client experience, and multi-firm communications. The role owns lifecycle strategy and journey design for assigned programs, delivering personalized, data-driven communications across prospecting, client engagement, and advisor-facing programs.Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
Own lifecycle strategy for assigned programs, determining program structure, audience definitions, cadence, and success criteria, including prospecting, nurture, pre-consultation, and client engagement journeys.
Partner with the broader Marketing Cloud team to shape the firm's overall lifecycle roadmap, journey design, and prioritization.
Translate strategy into Journey Builder automations, decision logic, and re-entry rules that reflect audience behavior and business goals.
Own A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps across subject lines, content, send time, and journey paths, and translate results into iterative improvements.
Build and deploy email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud using Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.
Configure and QA landing pages, forms, and CloudPages that support prospecting, event, and client engagement programs.
Own end-to-end campaign setup, including audience segmentation, data extensions, SQL queries, dynamic content, and send configuration.
Apply AI tools to accelerate copy iteration, subject line optimization, personalization, and QA.
Execute recurring and one-off client, prospect, and advisor-facing communications, including newsletters, event invitations, and lifecycle touchpoints.
Build and deploy sends on behalf of Focus Partners and affiliated firms, ensuring consistent quality, branding, and compliance across audiences.
Partner with the Digital Marketing, MarComms, Content, Client Development, and agency partners to translate briefs into production-ready campaigns on schedule.
Set QA and deployment standards across content accuracy, link validation, data mapping, deliverability, and compliance, and determine whether a campaign is approved for release.
Investigate and resolve deliverability incidents, data and audience errors, and journey failures on behalf of management, determining root cause and remediation approach.
Maintain campaign tracking hygiene, including UTMs, tracking parameters, and destination URLs, and coordinate audience handoff with the performance marketing team and agency partners.
Partner with the Marketing Cloud team and IT to align on data extensions, integrations, and platform governance.
Contribute to documentation, build standards, and process improvements within a shared Marketing Cloud environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
5+ years in email marketing, marketing automation, lifecycle marketing, or digital campaign execution.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement (formerly ExactTarget) is required, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder. Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
Demonstrated experience contributing to lifecycle strategy and translating it into deployed campaigns and journeys.
Experience building and deploying campaigns in a shared platform environment with multiple contributors.
Experience supporting client-facing or regulated communications; financial services or wealth management experience preferred.
Familiarity with email deliverability principles, sender authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), subscription management, and CAN-SPAM/GDPR compliance.
Track record of using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Writer AI, Einstein) to accelerate campaign work.
This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $85,000–$107,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k).
