About the Company
Our client is a
well-established, category-leading personal finance technology company with more than 40 years of history. The company is entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding its product portfolio and business models while continuing to build products that help consumers better manage their financial lives.
The organization combines the stability and resources of an established brand with an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented environment where employees have significant ownership and autonomy.
About the Role
The
Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own the customer journey end-to-end from onboarding and engagement through retention, cross-sell, upsell, and winback.
This person will translate lifecycle strategy into hands-on execution by building the segmentation and triggers that power personalized customer journeys, running a disciplined test-and-learn program, and using data to continuously identify what's working and where there are opportunities to improve.
This is an ideal role for someone who is equally comfortable
shaping strategy, digging into data, and finding creative ways to execute.
What You'll Do
Own the Customer Journey Across the Lifecycle
Design and manage onboarding, engagement, retention, cross-sell, upsell, and winback programs.
Map the end-to-end customer journey, identifying key moments, drop-off points, and opportunities to deepen engagement or drive revenue.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure lifecycle programs reflect product changes, customer feedback, and evolving business priorities.
Translate Strategy Into Execution
Partner with leadership to develop and evolve lifecycle strategy.
Translate strategy into concrete, shippable customer touchpoints and programs.
Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap of lifecycle initiatives.
Manage operational details, including timelines, briefs, and dependencies, to ensure programs launch on time and as planned.
Design Segmentation & Triggers
Build customer segments based on behavior, lifecycle stage, customer value, and risk signals.
Design and implement trigger-based messaging across channels, including behavioral, transactional, and time-based triggers.
Continuously refine segmentation and trigger logic as new customer data and signals emerge.
Own the Test-and-Learn Program
Build and maintain a structured testing roadmap across lifecycle programs, including messaging, timing, channel, offer, and journey structure.
Design experiments with clear hypotheses, success metrics, and appropriate statistical rigor.
Analyze test results and translate findings into documented learnings and actionable recommendations.
Ensure learnings are implemented and inform future programs not simply presented as test readouts.
Dive Deep Into the Data
Analyze customer behavior, campaign performance, and journey-level data to identify opportunities and diagnose performance issues.
Build and monitor reporting that measures program performance against retention, engagement, and revenue goals.
Bring a follow the data mindset to prioritization, using deep analysis rather than assumptions to determine what to build and optimize next.
