We provide world-class fire protection services using cutting-edge technology earning our clients trust to protect their property. In this role youll be responsible for running fire alarm cable installing devices and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.ResponsibilitiesInspecting fire life safety systems including fire sprinkler fire alarm fire extinguishers kitchen hoods etc.Complete annual semi-annual and quarterly inspections of all fire life safety systemsComplete all necessary paperwork and submit it in a timely mannerNote any and all deficiencies on system and note them properly on paperworkDaily communications with Inspections Manager andor Schedule Coordinator on inspection statusExhibit excellent customer service skills by consistently communicating with company staff and customers to ensure customer satisfaction.Perform administrative duties including completing daily service acknowledgements safety documentation and other related duties as required.Required SkillsAbilitiesBeginner level of inspecting fire sprinkler systems training will be providedMotivation to gain knowledge and in-depth experience of applicable fire sprinkler codes and standardsExperience using technology and able to learn new data entry skillsCustomer focused interpersonal skills and proven ability to build long term customer relationshipsStrong organizational skills multi-tasking skills ability to be resourceful and proactive when completing dutiesEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.NICET in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems strongly preferred within 3 monthsValid state drivers license requiredWillingness to pass a pre-employment drug test background check and MVRPay Range25hr - 30hr depending on experience andabilitiesBenefitsPTO Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance Long-term disability 401k with match EPSPEEO statementAffirmative ActionViking Fire Protection Group is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of religion disability protected veteran status age sex race color national origin or any other characteristic protected by lawViking Fire Protection Group complies with federal and state disability laws and will make reasonable accommodations for applicants and qualified employees with disabilities.
