Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Life Enrichment Director (Activities) to join our senior living community in Greenville, SC. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an activity director and/or in life enrichment within senior living, demonstrating a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our residents through engaging and meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement a diverse range of activities and programs tailored to the interests and abilities of senior residents.
• Coordinate community outreach initiatives to foster relationships and partnerships that enrich resident experiences.
• Maintain detailed records of activities, attendance, and resident participation.
• Collaborate with staff, families, and volunteers to ensure activities meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents.
• Utilize computer skills to manage scheduling, communication, and documentation effectively.
• Demonstrate creativity in developing new programs and events that promote engagement and wellness.
• Exhibit high energy and motivation to inspire residents and staff alike.
• Be coachable and open to feedback to continuously improve program quality and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an activity director and/or life enrichment professional in senior living is a must.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability in community outreach and building relationships.
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and innovative activities.
• Proficient computer skills, including scheduling and communication tools.
• High energy, motivated, and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Coachability and willingness to learn and adapt.
