Position Description:
This is a leadership role with a lot of energy behind it! We’re looking for someone who can take charge, bring people together, and help drive a culture where residents are genuinely enjoying life.
You’ll work alongside our other coordinators to create and maintain a strong life-enriching culture throughout the facilities/homes. We want to hear laughter in the halls, see residents engaged, and feel energy throughout the building. That means planning great events and activities, but it also means getting other people excited and involved. You need to be outgoing, social, creative, energetic, and able to motivate the care team to ensure the activities are performed well.
Also, there’s an important leadership side to this role. Our Resident Life Partners play a huge part in creating that culture, and this leader needs to make sure expectations are being met. If they aren’t, you need to be comfortable addressing it, following up, and holding people accountable. We’re looking for someone who can be kind and compassionate while still being confident, firm, and willing to take charge.
The normal schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., but leadership doesn’t always happen between 8 and 5. Events and activities may require evenings or weekends, and there will be times when you need to stop in on other shifts to engage the team, see what’s happening, and make sure our standards are being carried out consistently.
You’ll also participate in our on-call leadership rotation, typically one week per month. During that week, you’ll respond to needs outside normal hours and, when necessary, be willing to come in and cover a Resident Life Partner shift. Being part of the on-call rotation also carries a financial incentive in addition to your regular salary!
At the end of the day, we want someone who can bring the fun AND bring the leadership—someone who gets people excited, builds relationships with residents, creates memorable experiences, takes ownership, and isn't afraid to say, “This is the standard, and we're going to meet it.”
