Job Summary – Licensing Specialist (Phoenix, AZ)
- Position: Licensing Specialist (Part-Time, Onsite/Local)
- Location: 1740 W Adams Street, STE 3006, Phoenix, AZ 85007
- Contract Length: 1 year (Contract to hire)
- Pay Rate: $20/hr (W2)
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 20 hours/week (Flexible hours)
- Start: Immediate availability preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Process online and paper licensing applications
- Ensure applications comply with statutes and regulations
- Conduct fingerprinting and background checks; update applicants on status
- Respond to public inquiries regarding licensing
- Log and track fees and receipts
- Prepare materials and take minutes for board meetings; attend and assist during meetings
- Order and maintain office supplies
Required Skills:
- Administrative experience
- Strong computer skills
- Fast learner, adaptable, and able to multitask
- Able to take direction and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ownership of responsibilities
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience working with state agencies
- Experience in system migration, audits, licensing procedures, and customer service
Other Requirements:
- Onsite work required (with some possibility for remote)
- No sponsorship available; candidates must be eligible to work in the US
- Must be available for immediate start and phone interview
Tools/Systems:
- Experience with HireRight for background checks and Global ID facial biometrics (preferred)
