Description
The Licensing Specialist coordinates, obtains, and maintains business licensing for all Publix locations to ensure compliance with federal, state and local business licensing requirements.
Responsibilities include:
- researching and obtaining business licenses, permits and registrations for Publix locations
- maintaining and renewing expiring business licenses, permits and registrations
- communicating with Publix store management, state and local governments and law enforcement officials
- project managing and providing status updates to management on the various licenses (business tax receipts, occupational license, beverage licenses, etc).
- performing various additional licensing related tasks necessary to comply with federal, state and local regulatory requirements.
