Overview
Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Trademark Licensing, the Licensing Manager will provide a wide range of business development functions to support and enhance the department and overall Yale Name. As outlined in the Principal Responsibilities, the Licensing Manager will simultaneously manage Licensing duties as assigned, multiple marketing functions (including the Yale Collection program), and on campus commercial filming/photography. In addition, the Licensing Manager will travel as required in support of their position and department including Las Vegas Licensing Expo, Atlanta Gift Show and one international Licensing Expo.

Required Skills and Abilities
Must be an excellent communicator (written & verbal)- with strong interpersonal skills.
Must have a strong professional presence and excellent presentation skills, with the ability to successfully discuss/present our programs to outside entities.
Understanding of basic retail practices - including pricing, maintenance of inventory levels, and buying principles.
Must be adept with Microsoft Office.
Ability to travel.
Preferred Skills and Abilities
At least two to four years of related work experience in marketing, licensing or retail.
Familiarity with contracts and/or financial documents relating to business planning.
The ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities as required.
