Licensed Vocational Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide processing and communication of Commercial Prior Authorizations (PA) reviewed by the Commercial PA team for Pharmacy benefits. A LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) that must hold an unrestricted license in their state of residence or a compact license.

Shift: Work hours will vary between 8:00 AM 8:00 PM Central Time (CT).

Summary:
This position is a 100% remote, work from home in the USA opportunity and will not be patient facing. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will provide processing and communication of Commercial Prior Authorizations (PA) reviewed by the Commercial PA team for Pharmacy benefits. This is a high production role with required metrics.

- Training:
Training duration: 6 weeks
Training hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM CT, Monday Friday
Training attendance is mandatory and must be worked in full during these hours. NO preplanned time off, please confirm this with the candidate prior to submitting: 10/18-11/18

- Overtime:
Overtime is required based on business needs - Candidates must be flexible and able to work OT when requested.

Experience:

Top 3 Skills:
Skill #1: Prior Authorization Experience
Required Depth:
" At least 1-3 years recent Prior Authorization experience.
" Pharmacy benefit PA preferred.

Skill #2: Managed Care / Health Plan Experience
Required Depth:
" Experience working within payer, health plan, PBM, utilization management, or managed care environments.

Skill #3: High-Volume Remote Clinical Operations
Required Depth:
" Experience handling production metrics. Simultaneous phone, documentation, and authorization processing.

Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a LPN/LVN.

Education:

" Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a LPN/LVN.
A LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) that must hold an unrestricted license in their state of residence or a compact license.
