Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Eastview Veterinary Clinic

Job Description

Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) - High Skill / Surgical & Clinical Focus

Eastview Veterinary Clinic | Clarksville, TN

$20/hour+ (based on experience and proven skillset)

Eastview Veterinary Clinic is a high-volume, walk-in practice. Our pace is real, our cases are variable, and our success depends on having technicians who can step in and perform-not just assist.

We are looking for a highly skilled, experienced LVT who is confident in anesthesia, efficient in workflow, and capable of operating independently in a fast-moving environment.

This is not an entry-level role.

We need someone who already has the skillset-and wants to use it consistently.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Independently manage anesthesia (induction monitoring recovery)
  • Support and execute surgical and dental procedures at a high level
  • Perform advanced technical skills (blood draws, catheter placement, radiology, triage)
  • Jump into urgent and walk-in cases with confidence
  • Work alongside our Lead LVT to maintain clinic flow and efficiency
  • Help reinforce training and standards for Veterinary Assistants

Minimum Requirements (Please Read Carefully)

  • Active Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)
  • 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience
  • RECOVER Basic Life Support
  • Strong, independent anesthesia skills
  • Experience in surgery, dental procedures, or ER/high-volume GP
  • Ability to work efficiently without constant direction
  • Consistent reliability-attendance, performance, and follow-through matter

What Sets You Apart

  • You don't wait to be told what to do-you step in
  • You can anticipate doctor and patient needs
  • You stay productive even when the schedule isn't predictable
  • You take pride in doing things correctly and efficiently
  • You contribute to the team by raising the standard, not lowering it

What This Role Is Not

  • Not a place to "grow into" core technical skills
  • Not a slow-paced or highly predictable environment
  • Not a position for someone who needs constant supervision

About Eastview

  • Walk-in model with consistent caseload
  • Growing focus on surgery, dentistry, and efficiency of care
  • Team-oriented environment with clear expectations
  • Actively building stronger systems, training, and clinical standards

Why This Role Matters

We are building a stronger, more efficient hospital-and that requires skilled technicians who can execute at a high level every day.

If you're an LVT who wants to be relied on, challenged, and part of a team that expects more…this is that opportunity.

Apply

Apply through Indeed with your resume and a brief overview of your clinical and surgical experience. Qualified applicants will receive a follow-up pre-screening questionnaire to help us better understand technical skill level, leadership experience, and overall fit for our clinic environment.

Selected candidates will then be invited for an in-person interview and working skills assessment. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate hands-on technical competency prior to hire, including anesthesia knowledge, patient handling, and general clinical workflow skills.
