    Veterinary Technician Instructor | Part-Time | 40 hours per week

    Location: Phoenix, AZ   | 13430 N Black Cyn Hwy

    Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5: 00 PM  (40 hours/week)

    Pay: $28.19 – $35.23 / hour

    To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

    • Education: Associate degree from an AVMA CVTEA-accredited program.
    • Experience: At least three (3) years of practical, hands-on experience in the veterinary field as a Veterinary Technician. 
    • Licensure: Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) status (or other required state designation).
    • Skills: Strong communication and basic tech skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

    What You’ll Do

    • Teach & Demonstrate: Prepare engaging lectures and lead practical, hands-on demonstrations in the lab.
    • Skill Verification: Monitor laboratory competencies and use checklists to confirm students are ready for the field.
    • Support Student Success: Track attendance, meet with students to encourage retention, and provide the extra support they need to graduate.
    • Stay Organized: Record grades, follow the established curriculum, and ensure the classroom/lab environment meets all safety standards.
