The Virginia Veterinary Centers in Short Pump, VA is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dentistry Team!
Compensation: $27/hr & up (based on experience & skill set) PLUS a $3,000 sign- on bonus for qualified LVT's!
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (7am- 7pm)

Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians in advanced anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring
- Perform diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions
- Maintain and place IV catheters, ensuring proper patient care
- Accurately administer and document controlled substances
- Provide compassionate client communication, from triage to discharge
- Ensure proper medical record documentation and OSHA compliance
- Strong venipuncture & IV catheter placement skills
- Passion for patient care and client communication
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-tech, fast-paced environment
- A team player with a commitment to excellence
- Veterinary Technician License (required)
- Strong communication and client service skills
- Proven ability to multi- task in a fast pace setting
- Strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and clients
- Strong anesthesia skills
