You'll collaborate closely with veterinarians and technicians, prepare a variety of medications including injectables and compounded treatments, and manage prescription workflows through EzyVet and external partners. As you oversee inventory, maintain the Cubex system, and monitor compliance, your attention to detail will keep operations running smoothly and safely, allowing the clinical team to focus on delivering exceptional care.In order to do this, you'll need the following:Current LVT or licensed pharmacy techKnowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, sterile compounding principles, and dosage calculationsExperience with medication preparation and handlingWorking knowledge of pharmacy inventory systems and automated medication dispensing systems (Cubex experience preferred)Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with computer systems and electronic medical recordsAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a team environmentAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsAbility to work around veterinary patientsPreferred candidates have experience in pharmacy, veterinary, emergency, specialty, or healthcare settings, along with familiarity with EzyVet, Cubex, sterile compounding, medication preparation, and inventory systems.OUR COMPANYAt Red River Animal Emergency Clinic, we proudly serve the Fargo community with compassionate emergency care for pets.
