Position: Licensed Teacher Assistant - Special Education at the Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools
Duties: To provide assistance in special education and/or regular education classrooms working with individual students and small groups in grades PK-8 at the Tomorrow River Community Charter School.
Minimum Qualifications:
Previous experience preferred.
Appropriate Wisconsin licensure, or ability to obtain licensure.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Ability to form productive relationships with adults and students.
Ability to be firm and consistent in following behavior plans for students.
High level of enthusiasm for the position, our school, and the outdoors.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Must be able to maintain all aspects of confidentiality.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Favorable background check.
Wage/Schedule: Starting Wage: $17.14 per hour (Step 0 licensed on the 2025-26 wage schedule with the 2026-27 wage to be determined)/6.5 hours per day, working 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, school year plus inservice days. Pro-rated benefits are available, WRS, LTD, life, dental and vision insurance.
