    Day to Day Substitute Teaching - Current substitutes do not need to apply.

    Starting Pay Rates:

    Full Day = $180.00 Half Day = $108.00

    Qualifications and Expectations:

    • BA/BS from accredited college or university OR
    • Valid 1, 3, or 5 year Substitute Authorization. Please visit the Colorado Department of Education website for more information on how to obtain authorization: Become a Substitute / Guest Teacher! | CDE OR
    • Colorado teaching license

    The following duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.     • Translates lesson plans into learning experience as to best utilize the available time for instruction.
    • Demonstrates subject matter concepts and examples using models, technology provided, and teacher- prepared instructional aids.
    • Demonstrates punctuality and good attendance.
    • Complies with all safety policies, practices and procedures, including proper use of equipment.
    • Follows appropriate district policies and procedures.
    • Assumes responsibility for instruction, duties, and supervision of students according to assigned position.
    • Demonstrates confidentiality as related to job.
    • Establishes rapport with students and provides a pleasant, safe, and orderly climate conducive to learning.
    • Supervises students in and out of classroom activities during the assigned work day.

    A criminal background check is required for hire.
