About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at On Course Psychological Counseling comprised of clinicians committed to helping clients improve their self-awareness make changes that help them get back on course. OCPC is searching for a clinician who is certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and a NYS Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW-R) or a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Lead MBSR groups
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in a compassionate manner.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance client care.
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in social work.
- Engage in community outreach and education as needed.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in need.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current LCSW license to practice in New York State.
- Early career social workers are considered but experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centered approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and ethical practice.
- Experience with diverse populations and trauma-informed care is a plus.
