Job Position: Licensed Security Technician

Location: San Antonio, TX 78249

Pay Rate: $26 $30 per hour

Ready to put your commercial security experience to work at a higher level? TradeSTAR is recruiting an experienced Licensed Security Technician for a client opportunity in the San Antonio area. You ll take on advanced installations, work independently, and provide leadership on commercial security projects.

What You ll Do
As a Level III Security Technician, you ll bring strong field experience to commercial security, access control, and surveillance installations. Responsibilities may include:
Read blueprints and determine cable paths and device locations.
Install and terminate security and access control cabling and equipment.
Install locks, electric strikes, mag-locks, motion detectors, panic hardware, door position switches, power transfer hinges, glass-break detectors, and related devices.
Support access control, security alarm, and CCTV installations.
Troubleshoot system and installation issues.
Coordinate work on small to large commercial projects.
Lead and provide direction to crews of approximately 5 15 technicians.
Work professionally with project teams and client representatives.
Apply experience with system layouts, site surveys, estimating, or bidding when needed.

Who You Are
We re looking for an experienced security professional who can contribute from day one.
Advanced commercial security/access control installation experience.
Current security licensing required.
Strong blueprint-reading and troubleshooting skills.
Experience installing and terminating access control and security devices.
Comfortable working independently and leading field crews.
Able to communicate clearly with technicians, project leadership, and customers.
Leadership experience on commercial projects is strongly valued.

Compensation & Benefits
$26 $30/HR, based on experience and qualifications.
