Benefits:About the Role:Candis Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our growing team in Roanoke, VA. Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct clinical services including individual, group, and family therapy
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, case managers, and community resources
- Ensure services align with Virginia DBHDS regulations and best practices in behavioral health
- Participate in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
Requirements:- Active Virginia license as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent QMHP-eligible credential
- Meet Virginia's QMHP qualifications as defined by DBHDS standards
- Experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment
