LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST - OPWDD EVALUATIONS
$70/Hour | In-Person | NYC
POSITION OVERVIEW
Compensation: $70/hour (1099 Independent Contractor)
Location: In-Person - NYC (patient homes, your office, or community settings)
Schedule: Flexible - set your own hours
Caseload: 5-20+ evaluations per month (you choose)
Payment: Net 30 via direct deposit
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for OPWDD eligibility for Medicaid patients in NYC.
Required Assessments:
- IQ Testing (WAIS-IV, WISC-V, Stanford-Binet)
- Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales
- ADOS-2 (when needed)
- Comprehensive report writing meeting OPWDD standards
$70/hour covers: Face-to-face testing, scoring, interpretation, report writing, and care coordination.
PATIENT POPULATION
- Ages: Children (3+), adolescents, adults
- Diagnoses: Intellectual disabilities, autism, developmental delays
- Insurance: Medicaid (various managed care plans)
- Locations: All 5 NYC boroughs (you choose preferred areas)
Requirements
Must Have:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical/School/Neuropsychology
- Active, unrestricted NY State Psychology License
- Experience with OPWDD evaluations
- Proficiency in IQ testing, Vineland, ADOS-2
- Professional liability insurance ($1M/$3M)
- Reliable transportation for NYC home visits
- Own testing materials OR willing to rent/use ours
Preferred:
- Board certification (ABPP)
- Bilingual (Spanish, Mandarin, Russian, etc.)
- Experience with Medicaid population
