School Nurse (LPN) Prince Georges County
Paid Pediatric Training | Supportive Clinical Team | School-Based Schedule
Ro Health is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide nursing support to students in Prince Georges County Public Schools.
Whether you already have pediatric experience or are looking to transition from long-term care or clinic work, Ro Health provides paid pediatric training and hands-on clinical support so you feel confident caring for students with medical needs.
Youll be supported every step of the way by experienced clinical supervisors and a responsive care team available 24/7.

Schedule Options
Full-Time3035 hours per weekTypical hours: 7am3pm or 8am4pm
Part-Time2025 hours per weekTypical hours: 8am12pm
PRN / StandbyBegin onboarding immediately and be first in line when school nursing placements open.

Qualifications
- Active Maryland LPN license (or multi-state compact license)
- Minimum 2 years of applied LPN experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Current negative TB test
- Reliable transportation within Prince Georges County and surrounding areas
Pediatric Clinical Training
No pediatric specialty experience required; paid training is provided.
During onboarding, LPNs receive training in:
- Seizure precautions
- G-tube / MIC-KEY tube care
- Tracheostomy care
- Diabetes management
- Straight and Foley catheterization
- Medication administration
- Care-plan documentation
All training is led by Ro Health clinical supervisors to ensure nurses feel confident and supported.
