Description
A residential healthcare organization on Long Island is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an overnight opportunity in Suffolk County.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Overnight
- Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Hours: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Setting: Residential campus
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments
- Complete nursing assessments and documentation
- Monitor residents and respond to changes in condition
- Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential environment
- Coordinate medical follow-up, appointments, and lab work
Qualifications:
- Active NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Comfort with supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Ability to complete required fingerprinting, background checks, and OPWDD clearances
Desired Skills:
- OPWDD or ICF experience
- Experience working with medically fragile populations
- New graduate LPNs encouraged to apply
