We are looking to hire a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work full-time. This float position will primarily work at the Napoleon office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and also must have the flexibility to move between other CHS offices, as directed by the Nursing Supervisor, to provide support through the work week. Candidates interested in this position will be paid a differential due to the travel between locations. Applicants must also have at least 3 years experience working as a LPN, preferably in an ambulatory care setting. This role will work alongside a dynamic team of healthcare professionals allowing you to utilize your skills and grow in your profession. Under the direction of our Nursing Supervisor, you would be responsible for the assessment of patients, point of care testing, lab and diagnostic follow-up, and other nursing functions to support quality patient care.
Hours for this position are:
Mondays- 7a-7p, Tuesday- Thursdays 8a-5p, Fridays- 8a-1p
What You'll Do:
Work directly with patients
Perform Adult and Pediatric Nursing Assessments
Communicate clearly with Providers, Patients, and CHS Staff
Follow-up on Lab and Diagnostic testing
Administer injections as needed
Follow all safety, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines
What We're Looking For:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
Current License to practice in the State of Ohio as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Current Basic Life Support Certification
Minimum of 3 years as an LPN preferred
Knowledge of documenting with EHR
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability to critically think and problem solve
