Position Qualifications Education: * Education requirements met before obtaining Licensure thru the State of Louisiana * IV certification Required Experience: * One year of experience in a healthcare environment preferred * One year of LPN experience preferred Licenses/Certificates: * Current LPN license (either Louisiana LPN or Compact LPN) verified thru Louisiana State Board of Nursing or Nursys * BLS/CPR certification required. The LPN performs nursing care of patients in accordance with the physician's orders and under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
