- 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Schedule may be adjusted to 9:15 AM – 5:15 PM based on department needs

- 60-Minute Unpaid Lunch Break

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Pediatrics to provide quality nursing care in a pediatric clinical environment. The LPN will support patient care activities, collaborate with the healthcare team, and follow established nursing practices, infection control standards, performance improvement procedures, and delegation principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients in accordance with established clinical practices and procedures.
- Assist with patient care activities and support the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Apply infection control principles to maintain a safe and clean clinical environment.
- Follow established performance improvement practices and procedures.
- Apply appropriate delegation principles when delivering patient care.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate effectively with pediatric patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow all applicable facility policies, procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with other nursing duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program required.
Licensure & Certifications
- Current New York State LPN License and Registration required.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Experience & Skills
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred.
- LPN training experience preferred.
- Knowledge of infection control principles required.
- Knowledge of performance improvement principles required.
- Understanding of appropriate delegation principles.
- Strong patient care and clinical support skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a pediatric clinical environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records.
