Now Hiring: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) –Short Contract
**Local and Travel LPNs Welcome***

Stamford, CT
$35 - $45/hr/hour
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7: 30 am to 6: 00 pm
Contract length: ASAP start - 8/23/2026

We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time contract assignment with a respected Orthopaedic and Neurosurgery specialty practice in Stamford, CT. LPN MUST be experienced doing blood draws and assist with injections

Responsibilities includes:
  • Room and prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and patient assessments
  • Do blood drwas and PRP injections
  • Assist physicians with in-office procedures and clinical support
  • Perform dressing changes and support orthopedic procedures such as casting, splinting, or suture removal as needed
  • Triage patient phone calls and communicate clinical information appropriately
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient education
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation and patient records
  • Ensure exam rooms remain stocked and compliant with HIPAA and OSHA standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to support efficient clinic workflow

Qualifications include:
  • Active Connecticut LPN license required
  • Current BLS or CPR certification required
  • Previous experience in orthopedics, surgical centers, neurosurgery, or fast-paced medical offices strongly preferred
  • Strong EMR and computer proficiency
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and patient service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented clinical environment
